Hey!

You want to start your own little garden? You can do it from your organic waste!

Why don’t you start with te easiest vegetable to grow, green onions? Just cut a 3 cm piece from the roots and put it in water. Once you see the stems, you can put it in the soil.

It’s up to you now!

You can find other tips to help you do your garden here.

Have a good and Rennes'ponsible day!

I have already tried with a leek but the stem has become very thin and it has never grown.
I am trying to start the experiment again but I can see that my new little leek is taking the same path as the old one.
Do you have any advice ?

Replying to

To succeed, cut the stems as far from the roots as possible (minimum 2/3cm), remember to change the water regularly and prefer a sunny spot indoors. You can then cut the young green shoots when you need them as it grows!
