ALL BEGIN BY A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE

It is necessary to limit our consumption of plastic bottles, but staying hydrated throughout the day is still essential.

 

The reusable, ecological and quality water bottle that you will keep for several years. In addition to saving you money in the long run, you can carry it everywhere from the gym to the Uni, reused it for hot and cold drinks...There are only benefits. You can even add a charcoal filter to purify the tap water if you need to or store the water in the fridge before drinking it.

Nothing is easier than to find a reusable stainless steel water bottle rather than a plastic one; you can turn to the many service providers that exist or even student associations.

But once you have the bottle, you might as well know where to fill it. Many shops will accept you to fill your water bottle in their café, but there are still fountains in the city. Here is a map showing the 17 free drinking water points in Rennes.

To go further, think about taking your own water bottle or reusable cup to drink your coffee in the local cafeteria. Reusable cups and cutlery will be used more and more anyway, while their disposable cousins will be banned by 2021. So, bring your reusable lunch boxes and cup for tea of coffee instead of boxed sandwiches and plastic cup, and consider getting washable cutlery in your bag.
